I don't think 'suppress' is the right word. More like 'express' through alternative mediums (sports, entertainment, etc.)

I've been doing BJJ for the past year, and I find that it's an excellent way to express my physicality as a man, and to challenge others to violent displays of dominance. Of course, we look after each other, we're not just snapping limbs off and choking each other to death. No, it's more like strategic playfighting; many compare it to chess. And it's great!
