Hey, man, does this program teach how to use commas? Lol.

Interesting topic, this. The old nature versus nurture argument. Hard work certainly outweighs 'talent' when it comes to building an outstanding character. However, I’ve noticed that, for some reason, many are hesitant to touch the 'nature' aspect of the genius equation—perhaps due to its association with eugenics and the implication of innate differences among groups of people.

If you lack the right genes for height, you can hardly compete in the NBA. There’s also a significant disparity in representation between elite sprinters and marathon runners. Perhaps, when it comes to mental tasks—chess, stocks, STEM—the 'skill gap' may be somewhat less noticeable, but it’s still too broad to be merely attributed to upbringing or lack of perseverance.

Nature or nurture? I'm leaning towards nature, based on the fact that humans are not created with equality in mind, but for survival. Nonetheless, nurture obviously plays a significant role in coaxing our genius out of us.

Anyway, good read!
